I knit

I knit this up last month for a friend and of course forgot to take a picture… in all fairness she did arrive a bit early 🙂  But it is so much better to have an action shot, don’t you think?

6 months….holy cow!

Mom and tiny bw  Daddy's girl Tiny is 6 months old.  How did that happen?  We had her well check with the pediatrician Friday and she has gained 2 lbs, 2 oz, and 2 inches in 2 months.  This brings her up to 26 inches long and 14 lbs 12 oz,  still on the tiny side but a ball of energy and smiles. She is sitting up, and to mark her 6 months rolled over from her back to front in a deliberate move for her dragon toy.  She was kind enough to demonstrate for Keith when he got home  We are on the verge of mobility :)

Bunny I managed to finish up Sophie (the bunny) just in time for a half birthday present.  A quick run Elijahthrough the washer and she is already chewing on the ears :)  I made Elijah (the elephant) and brought him to the hospital with me.  You can really see how much she's grown.  I castBunny and elephant on Sophie two weeks before my due date but ended up working on the body just two days later at the hospital while I was in labor,  needless to say I hadn't gotten much farther until a few weeks ago.  These are the best patterns for knitted animals as there is no seaming.  I think I will start the bear for her birthday.

Sweetie Pie

Sweetie pie 3 This one is still a bit big…actually fits best on backwards (shown).   This is Sweetie Pie that I finished up sometime late last summer.  I am enjoying my live action model shots for the finished knitwear.  I do find it hard to get a clear picture as she is quite the mover and shaker these days.  Sweetie pie 1
