Needless to say we will be staying in today, maybe doing a bit of crafting.  It's hard to believe it was in the 60's on Monday.

New Toy

6a00d83451d14f69e20120a93f3425970b-320wi  I have a new toy.  Since I have been at home with Tiny,  I have been doing some sewing.  Unfortunately,  my sewing machine couldn't quite keep up.  Of course it had hung in there pretty well,  I bought it 15 or so years ago in college.  Keith decided to surprise me for Valentine's day with a spectacular new machine.  I am still exploring all its features and thrilled with every new discovery.  I have made two quilts that have already been gifted and as I have alluded to am already in process on a couple more.  SLR_1141SLR_1137

First Steps

This is the beginning of a quilt for our little one. My mom was visiting earlier this month and wanted to buy fabrics for a new quilt. I must say we had lots of fun choosing a pattern and fabric, even if we did leave the store without our bag:). I had a couple other projects to finish before starting this one so I am thrilled to get going. Any guesses to the pattern? Hint: these lovely four patches will be the center of each blockIphone4-7 002
